De-composers like mushrooms and fungi, fit into the food web in the following ways; When an animal like a tiger dies, fungi and bacteria feed on the dead matter. Then other animals like humans and insects eat the fungi. So De-composers would be what be called De-composers in a food web and the animals that eat them omnivores as the animals that eat them would eat other things like plants and animals making them an omnivore.
The decomposers get their energy off of the dead animal. Or whatever they find that is dead that had blood. Im pretty sure they dont eat insects or I know at least some of them dont. I hope this helps:)
Decomposers eat dead material and make it into something that enriches the soil such as worms.
