De-composers like mushrooms and fungi, fit into the food web in the following ways; When an animal like a tiger dies, fungi and bacteria feed on the dead matter. Then other animals like humans and insects eat the fungi. So De-composers would be what be called De-composers in a food web and the animals that eat them omnivores as the animals that eat them would eat other things like plants and animals making them an omnivore.

∙ 14y agoThe decomposers get their energy off of the dead animal. Or whatever they find that is dead that had blood. Im pretty sure they dont eat insects or I know at least some of them dont. I hope this helps:)
