Some would say evolution.
it would have a different setting
The conflict is resolved by Mr. White wishing that everything would go back to normal.
Some would be the anaconda, the blue and yellow macaw, the giant anteater, and different monkeys.
It never started with monkeys. If they did, though, People would eat the monkeys and then the blood would be transfered to humans.
Stories are totally different depending on who is writing them. A teacher would have a different viewpoint than a student or a janitor or a principal or a parent. Depending on what the story is about, the teacher would see and think and feel different things. Every character in a story has their own unique viewpoint of that story. Think of how Harry Potter would be different if Hermione had been the narrator, for example.
If monkeys did not have adaptations to protect them, they would be destroyed by predators. Monkeys live in the trees in order to remain safe from predators.

Evolution is more of a tree. For example, humans are not descended from the monkeys you or I would see today, nor did they somehow turn into humans. Instead, modern monkeys and humans share a common ancestor that eventually split into several different species. Another argument sometimes heard is, "If humans came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys around?" This is because there was no linear progression of monkeys towards humans. A small group of ancient monkeys gathered more and more mutations until they were different enough from the original monkeys to be considered a different species. Note that no where in this example did the original species disappear; they still lived on while a few changed.
Maybe, but if there would be one, there would be different characters and story.
First tell us, which story.
Typically you would see monkeys, different types of birds such as toucans, dolphins, fish, sea turtles, and lizards.
