Pocahontas was the daughter of the Chief of Powhatan. She was kidnapped and only would be returned for copper kettles.
No, the story of her "disnified" was incorrect. She was a Native American princess, from the Powhatan tribe in Jamestown, Virginia.
Yes, Terrence Malick's The New World is a non cartoon version of the story of Pocahontas and John Smith. But be warned, it's not a traditional narrative. It can be a bit of a slog to get through, seeing as there is very little spoken dialogue. Most of the story is progressed through visuals and narration. I would look up clips before getting the whole movie...just to prepare.
A bad horrible place with no comedies.... :)
The year the book is set in doesn't have too much of an impact on the story since it is set in a fictional world without all of the real life technology. However, if you were to change the locations it would be a very different book.
The story of Pocahontas is a made up one by Smith in a book he wrote after her death in England. I doubt our lives would be any different today if had or hadn’t existed.
It would not be significantly different.
people would be reating eachother as equals
there would not be a food chain
There wouldn't be train tracks, and you couldn't play tic-tac-toe.
we would not have lef blowers and lawnmotors in the world and the world would be so mess
Einsteinium is not so important to change the world.
we would not have women's rights
A SYMBOL FOR POCAHONTAS WOULD BE PEACEand cheese eating
we would have to use alternative resources to get things done.
Honestly, probably not much different.
