First get your self tested to make sure it's an std. Avoid having oral sex and intercourse until you can get checked out.
If they are the only person you're having intercourse with then have a private chat with them and let your partner know that you haven't been fooling around.
Let them know what has been going on and ask them to get checked out. Arm your self with some information about the std in case they have questions.
If you get a bad reaction then you may want to think about getting a new partner. You don't want to be around some one that will flip out and not trust you over some thing that could be easily treated.
I had to tell my boy friend that he gave me an std, he went to get checked out and he had it too.
