Macy's doesn't give a senior discount at their stores. One little thing they will do is if you buy an item at full price and it goes on sale they will credit the difference.

Full service retailers simply continue to do what they do on a daily basis. This consists of offering their high-quality items, (vs. cheaper, lower quality items that are offered at the discount stores) and also keeping up a reputation of having exceptional customer service, which I believe is very important in any business.

Many major stores have "outlet stores" which sell patio sets at discount prices. I know that Sears has outlet stores, and I have seen full patio sets there for almost 50% off their original price.
