Troubleshooting steps: 1. Reinstall the webcam drivers. 2. Open Windows Control Panel and see if your microphone is set to the default ausio input device. 3. Reinstall your sound card or integrated sound drivers. 4. Tinker with the hardware if you're a geek like me. 5. Give up and buy a new one.
If you don't know how, you probably couldn't do it even with instructions. Just get a new one.
probably by going to game stop and seeing if they could fix it.
So i recently got a new mic and i want to record but my computer only has one audio in and out port (It takes microphone and Headphones in the same port) but the mic was not built for this (it has two black rings if that helps). I have tried everything that i could think of. The problem is that my computer pics it up as a headphone and not a mic and so it will not record sound through the mic but it will stop sound from coming out of the computer speakers like headphones would. Please help! (yes i know this is an answer but i wanted to put a description so just edit this with the right answer)
Its spelled mic or microphone. but i would just recommend buying a new headset unless if you have the skills to fix them tried once but wired them wrong
Only if you have symbian OS, then DLL Mobiola Headset.
Buy an external mic, they're not thatexpensive.
In order to fix a computer it is best to know what the problem is and how to fix it. So it would be recommended that a person know how to operate a computer first.
you would need to buy one seperatly. then on the back of the computer (were all the cords lead to) there should be a set of plugins that are about the size of a toothpick. get the cord of the mic and plug the end into the one with a picture of a mic by it. you should then be able to use it.
Yes, if you have a receiver for it.
Most likely you will need a preamp or at least an impedance matching circuit between the mic and the mic in of the computer.
Unfortunately I don't think you can. You might. But I've tried many on my Dell computer and it is much to small to fit in the Mic hole or the Headphone hole.
It's a dynamic mic, so just buy a 1/4 inch to 3.5mm converter and plug it into your computer's mic slot.
Could you define a "computer blackbox"?
