OR GET A JOB AS A FIREFIGHTER/EMT, OR AN EMT WITH AN AMBULANCE COMPANY. GET SOME EXPERIENCE. YOU WILL FIND OUT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO COMMIT TO A PARAMEDIC PROGRAM, WHICH IS EXPENSIVE, INTENSIVE, AND TAKES OVER YOUR LIFE FOR A YEAR OR MORE.

But in bigger places such as Ontario paramedics may make $70,000+ per year. But I'm sure a paramedic is a very rewarding, exciting career. If I was more courageous and interested in this exciting field I would go for it. Afterall you can make good money with it, and it is not all about money.
