Hello: You know when to put your dog " to sleep" .... When you see the quality of life is poor. Also, if you see your best pal in uncontrolled pain and discomfort. It is a hard thing to do but many times it is the Right choice to make. If your pal is able to stand on his own two feet and able to go potty. Also, if your pal is able to eat and keep the food down.... then, sounds like he is doing well. When a dog is unable to get up and do his business outside..... When a dog is in uncontrolled pain..... then it is time. I hope this has helped you in this hard time.
personally, i think that once your dog is showing a lower quality of life than what his norm is, it's time. if your dog is contantly in pain, can't control their bathroom habits, has stopped eating and drinking - as sad and as painful as it is, it's then time.
In my opinion, it time to euthanize your dog is they are in pain that cannot be managed with pain medications from your vet, or when they do not seem to enjoy life anymore.
If your pet is..
Honestly, when you feel that they are too hold, they cry because of pain or the get seizures etc.
I put down my lab she got cancer I didnt want her to face pain,
Discuss the situation with your vet and weigh up the for and against arguments before making a decision.
If your dog is in extreme pain, it is better to euthanize them so that their suffering can end. As hard as it may be to let go of a pet, you'd be doing the right thing.
Most vets and animal shelters will humanly euthanize a dog.

yes, but only if the shelter euthanize animals. If they have a no kill policy your in luck if not they often only keep them anywhere from 24 hour to a week. most animal shelter that euthanize there animals usually keep the dog for an average of 3 days. If it has a dog tag or the dog has a chip they will call you.
Is your intelligence that of a turd? You should never hit any dog. A dog with rabies should be reported to your local animal control so they can safely pick the dog up before it has a chance to spread the disease to any other animals.
There's always sodium pentobarbital... Assuming you don't actually want to euthanize the dog, then you can get a collar which is sensitive to loud noises and will shock the dog when it barks. The dog will rapidly learn to associate barking with discomfort and should stop barking needlessly.
This is really up to the owner of the dog. If a dog is suffering and you do not think it will heal anytime soon, I would supposed the sooner the better.
If a dog has rabies, then a humane society MUST kill the dog. it depends if its a no-kill shelter or not. You need to call and find out if they euthanize dogs or not.
Euthanizing mentally ill or intellectually disabled individuals is not ethically permissible. Every individual has the right to life and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their mental or physical capabilities. It is important to provide appropriate support, care, and accommodations to enhance their quality of life.
yes, china been doin that since 1921,but until now euthanize is illegal, euthanize's executer will been accused as morder whatever the death agree or not
The decision to euthanize a deaf and blind dog should be made carefully, considering their quality of life, ability to interact with their environment, and overall well-being. Consult with a veterinarian or animal behavior specialist to assess the dog's specific needs and whether they can have a good quality of life with proper care and support.
Dog adoption benefits both the dog and humans alike. Since shelters often have to euthanize animals due to space issues, adoption saves the dog's life, and they get to experience being part of a family. The families gain a companion that shows unconditional love and teaches responsibility.
Take it to the vet.
