How would you lead the Israelites?

You would lead them by telling them that you are God's prophet sent to lead them. They would follow when you could perform a sly trick that would 'prove' you truly are a prophet. That is how you could lead them - though I don't know why you would want to.

Alternatively, you could embark on a quest, and find God, who would tell you how to lead them. It depends on your preferred approach. An atheist would prefer the first, a Christian or Jew the second.

I honestly have no idea why you would want to lead them, though (especially since they no longer exist).
