Cite as follows for the reference page: Cite the question exactly. (use n.d. for no date). Retrieved give date, from WikiAnswers: http://web address (do not put a period after the web address) For example, to cite this question specifically, it would be (note this will not allow me to use hanging indent which is required for APA) as follows: How do you cite this source in apa style. (n.d.). Retrieved August 22, 2009, from WikiAnswers: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_cite_this_source_in_apa_style Cite in text for this example by using the title in quotations and n.d. For example, a sentence could be: According to WikiAnswers, if there is not a date specified, use n.d. ("How do you cite this source in apa style", n.d.).

In APA format, you would cite WikiAnswers as an online question-and-answer platform. You can include the website name, retrieval date, and URL in your citation. It's important to note that WikiAnswers is now called Answers.com.

To insert a quote into an essay in MLA style, you would first find the quote and write it verbatim into the essay. Then, after the end quote, put one space than then an open parenthesis. In the parenthesis, write (without quotes) "WikiAnswers Question". If there are various contributors/authors, then in your bibliography, just write 'various authors'.

Here's how: You DON'T. WikiAnswers.com is not a reliable source to use in a research paper. You need to use credible sources in writing a research paper, like journal articles that have been peer reviewed, or books that have been published within the past 5 years. If you are using WikiAnswers as a source, you have some serious problems.

you type in the article name first either using quotation marks, or italized. then you name the Page name (Wikipedia), then you type in the web address. usuing these <> before and after the address. here is an example.

Women in the Workforce,Wikipedia, <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/women_in_the_workforce>

if there is a second line then it needs to be indented.

That would be a very bad idea, as Wikipedia's own disclaimers state that they "cannot guarantee the validity of the information found here".

However, if you really want to take that chance, Wikipedia provides a "Cite this page" feature on the left hand side of every page. You may need to open the "Toolbox" dropdown box to see it. This will display a citation in several different formats.
