put it in salt water
Some common types of green water fish suitable for home aquariums include neon tetras, guppies, platies, and swordtails. These fish are colorful, easy to care for, and can thrive in a variety of tank conditions.

Ah, the home of a fish is called an aquarium or a fish tank. It's a special place where our fishy friends can swim and play, surrounded by water, plants, and maybe even some colorful decorations. Remember to keep their home clean and cozy, so they can stay happy and healthy!
fresh water fish are fish that live in fresh water fresh water is what you would get out of the tap at home as aposed to salt water witch contains salt
To prevent shock which could kill your fish.
Yes it/they can. Care should be taken to let the temperature of the water the fish is/are in slowly equalise with the water in the pond before releasing the fish otherwise it/they may die from temperature shock. I used to place a bucket containing the fish in its/their original water beside the pond and slowly replace a cupfull of water at a time over about 30 mins or so before releasing the fish into its new home.
I would like to know
Technically, any "wild" fish may be kept as a "pet". However, many are more difficult than others. Any fish you see in a pet store was once, or its ancestors wereonce wild caught fish. Many marine species are still wild caught and delivered to local fish stores (LFS). If you are talking about a trout, for instance, that you would like to take home and keep alive (as a pet), then the best option is to research water quality parameters and duplicate the temperature, pH, et cetera, of the water the fish was caught from. Some species are relatively easy to care for, while others are impossible (for the beginner's home aquarium).
Some fish live in salt water because they just do. Some fish live in water because they were put in water. If you get a fish at home you can put it in salt or water. It also depends on there skin because the fish can have very sensitive skin and can only touch a certain kind of water
Home use often has a tank for the water, but the RO is the same. Many people often add a DI unit for their fish tank, but this is not used for home. In addition, sometimes, the RO membrane people use for fish tank is one designed to remove more silicates and this is not needed at home. Having said all that, the home RO water is fine for fish tanks!
Hi I have neon tetras at home so I know 1. FEEDING. You can feed them feed them fish flakes (I use marina). 2.CLEANING. Be careful when you change the water because you may get a surprise thx hanny22222
To carry a fish home without it being without water, you can use a clean, sturdy container filled with water, ensuring it’s large enough for the fish to swim comfortably. Alternatively, if you don't have a container, you can place the fish in a plastic bag filled with water and seal it tightly, making sure to leave some air at the top. It's important to keep the bag upright and avoid excessive movement to reduce stress on the fish. Lastly, transport the fish promptly to minimize exposure to the air.
