Service bigd stop
A "daemon" is a program that runs in the background without a graphical interface. In Windows parlance, this would be considered a "service". In the context of FTP and other related Internet technologies, a FTP daemon would be the program "service" that runs in the background (for which the term "server" can refer to the machine that runs such network-facing services or the services themselves).
Usually, if you change the port in a server's configuration file, you will have to stop and restart its daemon or service for the changes to take effect. Changing the FTP port would not stop access, butyou would probably have to specify the port manually on any FTP client.

I would say Daemon tools, since I have had problems with Imgburn. You could also try ISOBurn or Power ISO.

The Windows Update service is/was available to Windows 95, but there was no specific utility for it; you would have to manually go to the website.
This question makes no sense, it should be removed from the forum.

Early Latin would not have had such a word but because of the accession of the Catholic Church and its use of the word daemon came to be a Latin word for demon. One would suppose that to make it into an adverb one would have to say daemone.
