You have to remove the bolt in back of the top hose and fill with coolant and keep squeezing the hose to remove the air in the line. Keep filling with coolant and squeezing the hose until you don't see anymore air coming out, replace the bolt and you may have to do this a couple of times after running the car so just keep an eye on the temp. gauge and repeat if you have to.

If you are close to a Lincoln dealership, go to the parts dept. and they will print you out a diagram of what you want. Ford may be able to do it too.
