Go to any explorer/my computer window and click on tools>folder options, go to middle tab, find the checkbox for "show hidden files/folders" and click it, you may also want to deselect "hide protected operating system files". You can also get to folder options from the control panel.
First you must access .minecraft, a hidden folder in My Documents/Application Data. Go into the saves folder to see all the worlds that are on your computer. Now you copy the worlds you want from your computer, put them on the other computer, and paste them into .minecraft's saves folder.
To view hidden folders open Windows Explorer or My Computer. From there select the Tools tab at the top of the window. Then click on Folder Options, from there select "view all hidden folders".
Because they are hidden
go to the folder with the pictures in it which are being thumbnailed. Go to Tools, folder options Go to view and then select "show hidden files and folders" Delete the thumbs.db file which you will see next to your pictures. This is the thumbnail file.
Right Click on the folder and check the box next to "hidden". if you want to see the folder, go to Start -> Folder Options -> Click on the View tab and Select "show hidden file and folders.
For XP Users:My Computer\Local Disk (C:)\ Documents and Settings\Your Profile Name\Local Settings(It is hidden*)\Temp *Tools, Folder Options, View Tab, Hidden Files and Folders, Show Hidden Files and Folders, Apply, OK
Tools - Folder options and click View Tab. Enabling the option Show hidden files and folders will reveal you all those hidden files.
the music files are hidden in a folder in the ipod... you need to enable "Show hidden files and folders" in folder options, if xp look in the top of the folder for folder options if 7 or vista look in control panel... than you can see hidden folders in the ipod which contain your music, the problem is that it has a weird name, such as g2sdl23okiads or something like that, you need to copy it to your computer, add to itunes and i tunes will straighten things up, and than puttin it in the ipod should be easy :D
make sure its not :[a] a hidden folder[b] read/write protected -i.e. check its privileges[c] that its your computer :)[d] doesnt have a virus
Depends on your type of computer windows if you click on new you should see create folder in the folder you can create a file

Click "View" tab Select "Show hidden files and folders" Click "OK" If you want to be able to see hidden files and folders on your Windows XP computer, from a Folder view, go to the menu bar and select "Tools". Then select "Folder Options" and then the "View" tab. Under "Advanced Settings" you will find an entry for "Hidden files and folders". Select the option you want.
The saves folder is in a hidden folder in application data called .minecraft. The directory to the folder is: My documents/Application Data/.minecraft. There is a folder in .minecraft called saves which contains your saved worlds. If this folder does not exist, then perhaps you have not yet played any worlds on that computer or somebody has deleted the folder.
