If you want to just disable the ABS then you can pull out the fuse for the ABS relay. The only thing is the ABS light will show on the dash.

under hood fuse box there is a 60 amp fuse labeled abs remove it and the abs will not work and the abs light will come on in the dash but you will be able to stop now
lokk in your fuse ox and disconect re abs fuse or find the abs unit and disconnect the wire assembly. Just a word of advise and that is if you disable an ABS or Air Bag system and you are involved in an accident, the insurance company may NOT pay for yhe damages. They are there to prevent injury. CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY BEFORE YOU DO DISCONNECT ANYTHING.

What I did was find the correct fuse for for the ABS motor and remove the fuse . the abs light will stay on but this did it for me. or find the motor just in front of the master cylinder and unplug it.

Just put a piece of black tape over the light if it bothers you and you do not want to have the ABS repaired.

The ABS light is on because there is a problem with the ABS system. Until the problem is fixed the ABS light will remain on and the ABS system will not function if needed. Once the problem is repaired, the ABS light will reset itself.

There is only one ABS brake pump motor recommended for the 1990 Lincoln Mark VII. The ABS pump is manufactured by three different companies.
I just covered them with black tape until I replaced the ABS sensor, then they both went out and I removed the tape. ABS sensors are cheaper on Ebay than at a parts dealer I've learned.

The 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII ABS speed sensor is located on the side of the transmission. The speed sensor should be labeled as such.
Fix your ABS system. Pull codes from your computer as a start. Then go from there.
