As most businesses in the U.S. take off weekends, if you were waiting for something to take 20 business days to reach you from today, Thursday, for example, you would need to wait Friday, (1 day), Monday through Friday (5 days), another Monday through Friday (5 days), one more Monday through Friday (5 days), and then 4 more days from Monday to Thursday. So your 20 business days stretches out to close to a month. (almost 4 weeks) In other countries, only one day is set aside without business, for instance Saudi Arabia, which takes off Fridays but not weekends. Check with the business you are dealing with for their days of operation to be sure.
