185 ft lbs been that way since at the very least 1988.
The 3 bolts on the hub are 65 foot pounds, and the axle nut is 165 foot pounds.

OK ... Here's the REAL answer: You cannot change the bearings on a Pontiac Sunfire. You must replace the "Hub-Assembly" they will be the same on both sides .

The 2003 Malibu hub bearing torque specifications are 40 pounds per square inch. You can ruin the bearing by tightening it too much.
I'm fairly certain it's a 30mm.
For the front end of a 2000 sunfire I believe it is 183 foot pounds. Check the sheet that comes with the hub assembly, it should say there.
Luckily, it isn't pressed in. It's a hub assembly. Just bolts in and out.
you have to take all brakes and rotor off the hub. then you must spin the hub so the access hole is in front of the bolts,and take all 3 bolts off. then you must pull the hub off of the spline.
Hub/bearing assembly to steering knuckle bolts, 77 ft lbs.Axle nut, 103 ft lbs.
Using new bolts, torque the front hub/bearing assembly to 96 ft-lbs.....
