If you encounter two ghosts in Old Chateu, (the butler and little girl), dont panic, it is totally normal. It does nothing to your game and I guarantee you that the makers of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl did it on purpose. To see the ghosts, you have to walk in and out of Old Cheateu's dining room or first room to the right (after entering the hallway upstairs.) Some people have been telling me that if you are standing in front of one of the ghosts, they fly through you and steal one of your pokemon. I've never seen that, but dont go ahead and risk it! Sorry to say but it's impossible for you to become alined with one of the ghosts, uless there is a cheat that lets you. They head in another direction before you can even move to talk to one.
