The test was probably the standard 5-drug NIDA test. This one only tests for opiates, and oxycodone is not an opiate. It is an opioid, a semi-synthetic analgesic for pain. The NIDA test will only detect heroin, morphine, codeine, and opium.
By taking it.
it depends what kind of test you're taking. If you're taking a hair follcile test then yes the test show what drugs you have used and roughly when you used them in about a 6 month period. However hair follicle tests are expensive and uncommon. You will probbally be taking a urine test which doesnt show how long you have been using. A urine test only shows if a drug is present in the urine or not.

Yes.
A medicine might not show up in the urine test if it is not filtered out through the kidney and into the urine.
Demerol (Pethidine) does not show up in a standard urine test due to reasons to complicated to explain. Every time you see someone say that demerol (Pethidine) will show up in a urine test are wrong. Take it from me. I have been taking demerol (Pethidine) For 3 years and not once has it ever shown up on a opiate urine sample. I even had a test one day 2 hours after taking 300mg of it. The only way it is detected is by testing for it in a lab environment.
