I do not have a 24" iMac. I have a 20" iMac. Apple no longer sells the 24" iMac. If you will click the Apple logo on the top left of your screen and then click About This Mac then More Info you can find the answer.
This answer is an oppinion..... in my personal oppinion i think you should get the touch smart rather than the IMac. I just think the TouchSmart brings something new a better to the table because of the extra feture, the touch screen! ( I really want the TouchSmart IQ770 ) Hope I have helped!! : )

You can infact change any LCD screen to a touch screen display. If you wish to use the touch screen as a display and input device you must install other software on your computer to recognise the touch screen input.
