No, it's a scam. They charge an "advance fee", and promise a lot, but there have been numerous complaints of people being ripped off by them, even thousands of dollars.
Phone numbers aren't gave out here, but if you go to the website of this scam, you can see their number in the upper right hand corner. And let me emphasize that First American Law is a scam.

They are one of the few firms that actually work to help their clients with loan modifications and other legal matters. No, it's a scam. This company is so much into scamming, that they'll even have someone join WikiAnswers and do nothing but write fake answers saying things like: "i used 1st American law center for my loan modification and had a great experience. this is a legit company and everything was fine" One can tell such shills for scam companies, as they never answer any other question. First American Law will take your money and give you nothing but grief in return. No legitimate company has to plant fake members at Answer Sites to rope people in.
I have been at my current firm for about 1 ½ years after using firstlawjob.com.
I checked out this company with the California State Bar and BBB and they checked out fine. I read a few complaints online, but what company doesnt. They seem to have everything together, but everyone has their opinion. They had no complaints with the State Bar Association and A- with BBB. I did the loan modification with them and it took 4 months, they had told me 3 months.
they are a sericing company how legit theyare is debateable
