You might consider sitting down with your boyfriend and have a conversation with him. If you truly love him, and he you, then it should be an easy thing to do. Explain to him that you're not transferring any feelings (if that, in fact, is the truth), and that he should trust you on this. Trust is the cornerstone of every successful relationship, so he either has to trust that you're telling him the truth, and move on, or he won't, and then there's no reason to pursue the relationship.
