I am a minor I am wondering if it is legal for me to carry an airsoft gun in public in Massachusetts. Would I need to keep it my bag or could I carry it openly?
Do yourself a favor and keep it in the bag.
In most airsoft wars and tournament at public airsoft fields, you have to be 12 and up and you need a waiver signed by one of your parents/legal guardians. If you are just going to have an airsoft war in your backyard with a couple of friends, you can be any age. You have to be 18 or older in most states to purchase an airsoft gun, however.
Airsoft guns must either be used in the privacy of your own personal property or at a designated play area. it is not wise to carry or display airsoft guns in public areas as they will most likely be mistaken for actual fireams. play on private propery or officially scanctioned fields and take care to not flash your gun in public
Is it illegal to carry or conceal an airsoft gun in a movie theater a restaurant or any other public buildings?
Yes, airsoft IS legal in Connecticut. However, some cities, such as Bridgeport, do not allow the public use of Airsoft guns, although I believe they might be illegal to own there at all. New Haven does not sell Airsoft guns from what I know of. Keep the blaze orange tip on it, and put it in a carrying case when not at games, and you will be fine. - Thomas Zilinski
I live in Arizona and was wondering when im 18 can my dad let me borrow one of his handguns to carry in the house with his permission?
Your local police can assist you. By California law it is illegal to have any airsoft guns other than ones that are clear or neon colored out in public. Over in Pleasanton it is illegal to shoot an airsoft gun (or any type of gun that shoots any type of projectile for that matter). In Dublin, minors are not allowed to posses or discharge airsoft guns unless given permission from their parents, but no one…
no, because people may get hurt when they are walking by and will complain It also might be illegal where you live (for example in California). The reason people are pushing for stricter laws against airsoft is because of people who are stupid and irresponsible enough to play in public places. People just passing buy could be seriously hurt, and police officers could mistake airsoft guns for real guns and end up shooting someone for…
