I am going on a trip to Japan soon. I am debating over which English-Japanese translator to buy. Which one should I buy?

personally i would buy one over there, and a Japanese - enlish - Japanese dictionary is the best, not a computerized one. Japanese is a simple language to learn to speak, reading and writing is difficult though. i could speak fluently in 6 months just using a dictionary and got a job as an interpreter in 18 months. electronic ones look cool but they slow your learning ability because you can just get them to do the work for you. if of course you don't care whether you learn the language or not by all means get a computerized one doesn't really matter which.

So if you wanted a translation if anything make sure to use that format, for example, you wanted "Christmas in Japan" therefore you would type "Christmas Japan in" instead. Please note: I have been having difficulty with typing the Japanese language on this computer so if it turns out to be boxes, I apologize. I believe Google has a translator and there is a translator that I use to use that traslates English into Japanese in the English form if that is what you were looking for. Fuku!
