I am having trouble kissing my girlfriend for the first time It's both of our first kisses so how do I get over the nervousness?

It's 100% okay to be nervous. It's totally natural... Unfortunately, being nervous is something that sometimes cannot be controlled. If you are nervous because you think she might not like it/want to, the truth is, she is probably asking herself "why hasn't he kissed me yet". She wants you to make the first move and if you can do that, it should be natural. Take it slow and let your body take over. Just do it. Don't spend the whole time thinking and planning it out. Just go! Don't think about the worst that can happen. Think about the best thing that could happen! It will most likely turn out just fine. Good luck! :)

It's perfectly normal to be nervous about your first kiss, and I'm pretty sure your girlfriend is just as nervous, or even more so, than you are about it. And the fact that it will be her first kiss too is really an advantage for you, because she won't know what it's supposed to feel like, either. So when you feel the time is right for both of you for that first kiss, just keep that in mind, and it will help you feel much less nervous.

And when you do go for that first kiss, just lean in and lightly kiss her, without pressing too hard on her lips, and without holding the kiss for too long. Then, if she wants another kiss, she will lean in towards you, or at least won't lean back away from you if you lean in for the second kiss. And from there, neither of you will feel nervous about kissing again. But kissing is as far as it needs to go. So don't rush into anything other than just kisses; you have plenty of time later when you're older to think about going further than a kiss.
