I am making a request for technical support through windows Vista-the message I receive is please use alpha numerical characters-I can't seem to find any info on this term-thank you for any help-p?

Alpha numeric characters are numbers and letters. The program is telling you to only use letters numbers in doing whatever it is you are trying to do, as opposed to using symbols such as ";[]\,./?!@#$%^&*()-" etc.
