It could be that the gun was madeon a 20 guage frame with the 12 guage barrel. I would have the chamber checked by a gunsmith. If this is not the case it could be dangerous to fire it. Please be careful.
The metal is soft & they are stamped with an engraved die.
What is your question? This gun was made in 1963

If the number is engraved and not stamped then it was done by a previous owner and not Colt. It could mean anything.
The Browning Sweet sixteen, will have the words "Sweet Sixteen" stamped or engraved on the receiver after the 1948-1950 time period. Prior to Sweet Sixteen being engraved on the legend which is the left side of the receiver, Sweets from 1937-40 and 46-49 are not stamped. If you have one of these guns, the gun will have a faded gold trigger - not blued. This is the most obvious sign. To be sure remove the forend. If the Barrel ring that slides over the magazine tube has three holes in it, then it is a sweet, providing the barrel serial number matches the receiver. So, check the trigger and barrel. Two other differences can be detected, but it's more info than needed to answer your question.
I have no idea what it means but I found a 1992 penny today with the same symbol... itS also stamped on the right side just above the year.
I am going to refer you to Beretta Customer Service- 1-800-BERETTA, extension 2003. Between 1925 and 1954, Berettas are dated from a number/letter code stamped near the proofmark, not from the serial number. However, my references show the 950B as a .22 rimfire, not a .32 ACP.
It's actually stamped, not engraved. What you have is a novelty item made by a private company that took normal cents and added a small picture of a present. They're sold as giveaways for parties, etc. and have no special value.
About $550
