If you bought it from the dealer, you may be entitled to Breach of Warranty compensation. If the car's mileage is under 125,000, the state of MA applies an 'Express Warranty,' of 30 days. If, inside that time, the car has the same malfunction 3 times or is in the shop more than ten days, the buyer is entitled to their money back (minus an allowance for any mileage they've put on the car since purchase.)
