Your ear holes are probably starting to close up. Either wait for them to completely close up and get them pierced again try again to get that earring in before it's too late. (or seek medical advice from a chemist that sells earrings or pierces ears.

∙ 12y agoIf they are new, then they aren't healed yet. If they're old, you could be wearing low quality jewelry or you may have an infection. It could also be from not wearing earrings for a long time and re-opening the hole a bit. If it isn't red, itchy, swollen or draining yellow/green fluid, it probably isn't infected. If you think that its infected, DON'T REMOVE YOUR JEWELRY. That traps the infection and causes an abcess. Go to your piercer first to get their opinion. If it is infected, change your jewelry to either surgical steel, glass, or real gold. Then go to a doctor and get antibiotics to help with the infection.
