you've created some chlorate and perhaps other chlorinated compounds/salts,
wipe it out with a cloth using white vinegar solution until it only smells like vinegar. (could use lemon/lime juice, need an acid[0]) you could also let the vinegar evaporate in the closed microwave overnight. maybe even microwave it on a low power.
feel free to use your dishwashing rubber/latex gloves while doing this.
let the thing air dry. if it still smells of vinegar, cook something you like the smell of. then you should be set.
;)
[0] you could even use HCl, like (muriatic) pool acid, but it would be very concentrated and you'd want to dilute it some. like a pour a shot glass of it in a large bowl of distilled water. then you can let that evaporate. still will want to wipe out with a cloth what you can.
muriatic acid is 34-37% HCl and you want 4-5% HCl. definitely use your gloves for handling the concentrated stuff, don't breathe in the fumes, and pour it outside. *when combining never pour water into acid, always pour acid into water*
water and vinegar that's works Leave the door to the microwave open. Chlorine bleach evaporates relatively quickly, and within a few days your problem should disappear. You may be able to hurry things along by slicing a lemon into a bowl of water and microwaving it. The lemon-scented steam will penetrate the fan housing and help neutralize the chlorine odor. When done, wipe out the inside of the microwave and again, leave the door open.
Your washing machine can be cleaned using lemon Juice, lime Juice or vinegar, along with Borax and spray cleaner (like Windex). First clean the outside of the machine, then the inside.
couches and such can be cleaned with an upholdstry cleaner or steam cleaner you can rent at the store Bulky items like comforters and smaller carpets can be put into the industrial machines at the laundromat

treat it like a sweater, and throw it in the washer with them. Then, hang them to dry.
All retainers should be cleaned properly. You can clean your retainer with a toothbrush, however, we advise using specialized retainer cleaner (or denture cleaner). When brushing and flossing, fixed retainers should be cleaned as well. Additionally, we advise against washing your retainer in hot water to expose it to extreme heat as this could cause the retainer to stretch into a different form.
