there are many reasons this could happen.
1. If you are small framed- Very small women can sometimes feel smaller movements sooner.
2. Ultrasounds- There are two possibilities here-
a. You are further along than you think. Many women will have what is called an 'implantation bleed' about a week after ovulation. This can be confused with a light period. Sometimes this might mean that you are about 3 weeks further along than you think. An ultra sound can provide a better date if this is the case.
b. You have more than one occupant. Many twin moms report that they felt movement earlier than with subsequent singleton pregnancies. An ultrasound is a good way of finding out.
3. First babies- First babies are sometimes easier to feel than later ones.
4. It's not the baby at all, sometimes those first tiny movements are just little bubbles, a problem that you will hopefully get to experience for another 27-31 weeks. Keep in mind that right now your focus is on your tummy. That much attention can cause you to notice things you have previously just ignored.
No. Sometime between 16 and 22 weeks, you'll start to feel your baby move.
Yes, you may be.
Yes, (and congratualtions! )
it's possible, but most women don't feel movement until around 20 weeks.
See your health care provider; the ultrasound will tell you how far along you are.
I believe so. I am ten weeks pregnant and just started feeling my baby move!
