I got gun training and a gun in World of Warcraft but my character won't use it why and how do I make him use it?

First you have to be a hunter, warrior or rogue to use guns. If you are one then go into the game , press C and then at the bottom of the character screen you will see a weapon slot on the bottom-right side. Equip your gun into this slot.
Next, you will need ammo. Guns use bullets, which can be bought at traders, bought from the Auction House, or made by engineers. You will need to equip this in the little slot next to the gun. Without ammo, you cannot fire a gun. Note that ammo will run out and you have to buy new bullets.
