i suggest u call the place were you got it pierced and keep ice on it
Seriously who cares about other people's opinion about tongue piercing, it's your tongue. If you want it pierced then fine do so but don't worry about what other people have to say about it, it's up to you.
Not yet wait a couple of days, the gums will be the least of your worries, stay on ice chips, freezies, slushies etc. keep the swelling controlled, you will be fine.
Yes it's not uncommon, just stay on the cold stuff and you will be fine.
I am a professional piercer and as long as the piercer is comfortable with piercing a tongue that short, then it IS ok. I have pierced many tongues that could not extend past the teeth or lip. They have healed up fine as well, and no signs of rejection occurred, though the likelihood of rejection raises significantly the closer to the tip of the tongue you are.
I was told by my piercer that aslong as you keep it clean and free of debris it would heal just fine
nothing silly goosee. you'll be fine. it might sting when its first pierced but after a while you will be perfectly fine : )
Yes its fine, i got mines done yesterday and its all yellowish whitish. one thing is keep using mouthwash or saltwater..it will take most of the white stuff off. remember the white stuff is just a bruise becase is been bashed around :)
I have my tongue pierced i got it abut 3 weeks ago, my tongue only hurt well now.. before it was perfectly fine but now it hurts every time i move it.. my friends who have their tongues pierced said it only hurts a lot because I keep playing with it because its still an open wound trying to heal and figure out why you have a whole in it. You will be fine just keep cleaning it a lot for the first month or so with antiseptic mouthwash.
Well you have a hole in your tongue, so naturally a little bleeding the day after is not unusual. Just follow your after care and all should be fine, if the bleeding becomes heavy get in to your local hospital emergency room asap.
well, it gets better and don't worry, I've experienced it too and nothing happened.
rinse your mouth out with water and just keep your eye on it, should be fine. You can always call the professional who pierced your tongue if anything should seem odd. chances are, your tongue would be swollen now so, ice and water should take care of you! :)
I don't think so but it just depends on your parents. I got my cartilage at 13 and nose done at 14 and my parents seemed fine with it. I am a girl and i know guys your age with their tongue done. Go for it!!
