I have 06 streetbob hd and when it sits at an idle it has a noise come 'n from clucth area but then if i ingage the clutch leaver the noise stops kind of like a throw out bearing on a truck any help?

I have the same bike. Harley Davidson is aware of the problem and there is supposed to be replacements for the inner and outer clutch bearings. The issue with this bike is "Expect to continue to have this problem every 7k to 10k miles". Mine is going into the shop for the 4th time to have the bearings replaced and the bike only has 38k miles. Seems that in their diligence to create the Harley Davidson line more cheaply the powers that be ended up with a product that just keeps falling apart.
Greed has its drawbacks and HD has reached the pinacle of creating way over priced junk.
Granted, I love my bike and my wife and I have enjoyed every riding mile. After it is fixed this time I am going to clean it up and treat it like a Corvette. Park it in the garage and only ride it on Sundays to the store and back.
We decided that it would be best to buy something with a history of quality and extreme durability so we purchased a 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad that has 14k miles on it.
Do what you want but if riding a lot is what you like to do, don't buy a Harley Davidson.
