I have a DUI and im trying to get a job as a security officer. should i lie and say i dont have one on my application?

If they ask about criminal convictions or your driving record you should disclose it. If you get caught lying about it is going to be much worse than if you had just disclosed it. If they don't hire you it's not the end of the world, and you can always talk to a lawyer about possibly getting your DUI removed from your record.
Lots of people have gotten a DUI, it's embarrassing, but it's more important to show that you are dealing with it responsibly and not lying about it.
