Your laptop probably doesn't support higher than an 667 MT/s FSB, so no. The fastest processor that would likely work in your laptop would be either a Core 2 Duo T5850 or a Pentium Dual Core T3400, both at about 2.1 GHz.

according to that site, it might or might not work (and yes, i do trust them fairly highly) i would also have to say, since your running a dual core, and the system requirements are for a single core, it should run fine the way your laptop is. my advice is to try installing it, and if it gives you an error, then post back with that error. if it installs, and laggs during game play, id upgrade to faster/more ram and try that first (4gb of ddr2 800 sells for under $50 compaired to the CPU you want is going to be several hundred dollars and hard to find)
