It sound like not enough power going to the amp. Check your connections again.
If you are running off a battery, you do not need a power supply cord. Once your battery runs out, you will need to plug in with an appropriate cord that fits your brand of computer.
If your battery is dead and you connect the power supply with your battery installed, the battery will automatically start charging. If you wish to run your MacBook off your power supply only, simply remove your battery from your MacBook and connect the power supply. You will then be running solely on the power supply. If you battery becomes fully charged while your power supply is connected, you MacBook will switch to the power connector as it's power source - preserving the battery.
remove the battery and plug the power supply You mean running on AC power without a battery?
The problem is probably the alternator. If the alternator fails to keep the battery charged the battery will keep the car running until it can no longer supply voltage to essential systems and the car will stall.
The advantage of Christmas lights running on batteries is that they will not be pulling electricty for your home's power supply. This means that your Christmas lights will not add to your monthly electricity bill.
depends on the kind of battery. a regular battery (aa,aaa,d,c) should supply 1.5 volts. a car battery should supply 12 volts
UPS is Uninterruptable Power Supply. It is a battery-backup designed to keep the computers running in case of a power failure.
Yes but it's still best to just run them when the car is running.
A UPS (uninterruptible power supply) contains a battery, and an inverter (a device to convert the battery power to AC line current, for running devices that plug into the wall). Or a laptop with a working battery.
Bad charging system? alternator or generator does not supply enough power to keep battery charged to operate accesories. Bad battery? can't hold charge.
The vehicle battery's main purpose is to supply power for the starting system and to power some accessories when the engine is not running. The proper procedure for changing or installing a battery... remove the battery cable first from the negative battery terminal, then from the positive. Install opposite, attach the positive cable lead, then the negative.
From your description it sounds as if the warning light is operating correctly. When the engine is running the battery is being charged and the electrical needs of the vehicle are being fully met by the alternator's output and the battery is not expending stored power. When you turn the engine off the alternator stops running and anything in the vehicle that requires electircal power is suddenly dependent upon the battery to supply it. Thus, the battery begins discharging power, which triggers the warning light indicating that the battery is being discharged.
