What styling products are needed to straighten curly hair?

Curly hair is a beautiful thing, but some women like to straighten their hair because sometimes the curls are hard to manage. When you get your hair trimmed ask your stylist what styling products she recommends.

Is it hard to take care of your hair if you have a curly perm?

I've never had a perm before but my hair is naturally curly. It is VERY difficult to take care of and is always looking bad and getting tangled. I'm going to straighten my hair this weekend because of this. I would strongly suggest to keep your hair straight if that's the way it is. :)

If your hair is naturally curly can you make it wavy with a straightener if so Do you need to straighten your hair first?

Straighten it lightly to just smooth out the curls add some hairspray just enough to keep it together but not too much to make it feel hard.

How hard is it to straighten curly stacked bob cut?

It depends what temperature your flat iron is on.

Why would people want thinner hair?

Age old truth. We all want what we don't have. Straight haired people want curly hair. Curly hair people want straight hair. People with really thick hair get tired of having it poofy, or heavy, or hard to manage. All they have to do is go to the hair dresser and tell them they want to thin out their hair. They can do it.

What is the best way to wear thick hair down?

straighten it or scrunch it.. but its hard both ways because us people with think hair.. it tends to unstraighten when we straighten it and if you dont put enough gel or hair spray in it when you scrunch it, it falls out! DONT USE MOOSE! it makes your hair really really sticky! and then it will start to FRIZZ bad! hairspray is the best unless you have naturally curly hair like really curly.. hhaahaa hope you like it<3

How do you keep your hair straight after you straighten it?

Easy. Dont get it wet! If your hair gets wet, it gets stickey and curley. Its gross sometimes. You can also buy shampoos and conditioners to keep your hair straight. Most salons sell straight hair products to keep your hair straight all day withput your hair getting greasy or hard.

How to curl hair that is really hard to curl?

I can relate! (: I have naturally curly hair but it just doesn't look the way i wanted it to. I straighten my hair and put hairspray in and then curl it like i usually would. (Make sure your curler is FULL heat.)

Can you get a pixie hair cut with curly hair?

You can but it's not a good idea. The curl in your hair will ruin the effect of the pixie cut and make you look... odd. I guess you could straighten it every morning but it would be hard to do and burn your hair. It's your choice but I wouldn't recommend it.

How do white people make their hair like black people hair?

This is a quite simple quite hard. But I think I can answer it for you. Straighten your hair with a flat iron every one or two weeks and make sure you wash it too in between those weeks. After about a year when you wash your hair you will get curls then when you continue this process your hair will be way eaiser to straighten. Your hair should grow fast. My hair is curly at this point and I use to have nappy hair and I still straighten my hair from this day forward. Becareful not to burn your hair. I use Wen by Chaz Dean and it works Great! on nappy hair.

Do Mexicans have curly hair?

Yes. I mean, it depends on the genetics and ancestery, but most Mexicans have extremely curly, frizzy, hard to manage hair.

How do you straighten your hair with out damaging it?

It's very difficult to straighten with a flat iron and not do damage. If you keep your hair deep conditioned and also spray a heat protectant before flat ironing it may minimize damage. You can blow dry your hair on a lower heat setting (to minimize damage) and it can get pretty straight. It will take a long time though. Then if you sleep on it, parrallell to your body, it'll turn out more straight. This is a lot of effort though. You can twist your hair up after combing it straight while wet and leave it overnight, then itll be wavy but not pinstraight. Sorry if this answer sucks, but the truth is its pretty hard to acheive straight hair without damage unless your hair is almost naturally straight. Use a thermal heat protection spray, and try not to straighten your hair more than twice a week!
