How do you get rid of hair lice with out letting my parents know i have them?

If you have lice, your family will too. Everybody will have to use the over the counter lice shampoo and lice comb to kill the lice and then comb them out. You can find it at places like Wal-mart or Rite-aid or Walgrens, etc. Then all the bedding needs to be washed in hot soapy water. And use a dryer if you have one or go the the laundry mat to use one there. The warm air of the dryer is an important part of getting rid of the lice from bedding. And make sure all clothes,worn while in contact with the lice, and espiecially hats are washed like the bedding.

∙ 12y agookay what you do is go to Walmart and get head lice make sure you get the expincive kind and u go into the bathroom and put it in your hair and leave it it there for as long as it says to and then you'll just have to read the instructions! (if u have head lice that's nasty)

∙ 12y agoFirst I encourage you to tell your parents because lice don't just stay on your head, they will move to others and to furniture, drapes, sheets and carpets. Everywhere! Your mom will be a lot more angry if that happens and the house needs to be fumigated and everything washed because you did not tell.
Buy lice shampoo at the pharmacy. Don't forget combing it after each time with the fine comb since the eggs are on the straws. The eggs hatch in a couple of days. It's easier if you have help.
