It is Jason Mraz's choice.
Merritt Lear. Nobody would mind some of that.
Michael Buble and Jack Johnson have a similar type of sound to Jason Mraz
Jason Mraz is not directly related to George Mraz; they are not family. Jason Mraz is a contemporary singer-songwriter known for his pop and acoustic music, while George Mraz is a renowned jazz double bassist. The similarity in their last names has led to some confusion, but they come from different musical backgrounds and generations.

"though the trees" is alliteration(:
the meaning is...... there are many meanings. They are love, Peace and motivation to be happy. if you are not happy, than its your fault, is pretty much the secret to the song. The whole song is based off of his devotion to Hawaii. Contrary to popular belief, when he says, "I'm yours", he is referring to Hawaii and not a girl. It's an impulsive decision but he can't wait any longer to be in his paradise. Living in the moment and living in harmony with others is the other message he is trying to convey. Overall, Mraz is being pressured by the fast paced world of where ever he was before and wants to get back to Hawaii at all cost.
