I heard and felt my Bone crack in neck when I bent my head backwards to look up it was very painful and is still painful when I move my head from side to side. What has happened to me?

You probably sprained a muscle and it will cure itself. The cracking sound is incidental and can happen even without being painful. If it's still very painful after a few hours, go see a doctor.
