I just bought sims 3 I installed it successfully but when i go to launch it i get a page fault error. ea tech line hasn't helped and i tried reinstallation How do i fix this?

i have had the same problem - our computers dont meet the system requirements i dont no much about this sort of stuff but after buying more RAM i discovered that I also need more GHz!! More memory, RAM and graphics can be bought but the only way to increase the GHz is by something called overclocking. Dont no what it is or how to do it but there are tutorials on YouTube dont no how trustworthy they are but if you are willing give it a go I personally do not trust my technological expertise enough to attempt it so I am going to have to buy a new computer altogether :-( in like ten years...............
