I just downloaded Garry's mod and most of the maps are all black what should i do?
There are many different reasons.
- Garry's Mod can't find the files. If so, try reinstalling it
- The .JPEGs for the maps got misplaced somehow. Again, reinstall
- they're maps for games you don't even have, yet you have them mounted on(Common problem, Garry still hasn't fixed it). Go to Gmod options and unmount the games you don't have to fix this
- Your using Garry's Mod 9, if so, buy the new one from Steam for the 10$, it's so worth it
