Use your Infernape on the 1st trainer. Use fire or ice type moves. Then use Whishcash, Froslass, or Tortera on Bertha. On the 3rd trainer, make sure Infernape knows Shadow Claw to use on Driftloon and the 4th trainer {sorry that I forget their names}. Finnaly, use Froslass on Garchomp because it is DRAGON and GROUND. Use your most powerful Pokemon on Spiritomb since it is DARK and GHOST similar to Sabeleye. Then you are on your own after you beat them.

To my knowledge, there's no way to obtain a chimchar from the game besides from Rowan. Your best bet is to get one from a trainer who has a chimchar he's willing to trade with you, or use the GTS. I don't think there's any other way of getting one besides getting one from Rowan.
