Hi there. The cartridge may not be seated properly in the carrier or just needs cleaning. Try to remove the cartridge from the printer. Grab a damp paper towel and place it on the table. Set the cartridge on the towel with the nozzles facing down. Draw about 2-3 lines in one direction to wipe clean the nozzles. Re-insert the cartridge in the printer. Try to print. If it's still not improving, do some test pages or deep clean cartridges on the printer. Hope this helps. Good luck!
The page yield of Lexmark cartridges fluctuates depending on the type of Lexmark cartridge you have. If you have a high yield Lexmark cartridge, you can expect to print up to 475 pages per cartridge.
I have only tried putting a Lexmark cartridge into a dell series 5 printer but it does not work. The electronics do not match and the printer rejected it.
Well I am printing scrapbook pages of the best quality setting on gloss and am getting about 12 to 13 pages a cartridge. This is full color print. With paper scrapbookpages are costing about $2.37 each. I can get about 25 pages with better quality setting on a Lexmark printer.
no it is designed so it will not print without color cartridge having ink in it
what should i do?
Sadly No. Lexmark make each cartridge model different so that no universal chip resetter will work. They also make some with chips that are intended to be replaced by Lexmark when they refill them and sell them as new once again.
yes
No it won't fit your machine. The Z705 takes the Lexmark #55 black ink cartridge. Just because a cartridge looks and maybe is the same size as another does not mean it will work in another printer. Ink cartridges have a specific connectors and chips that will only work in certain printers. Also the type of ink and nozzle size are also designed specifically for certain printers.I suggest looking around online and buy the Lexmark #55 black ink cartridge.
You do not need to regularly print to prevent blockages with the HP 78 Tri-Color Ink Cartridge.
The yellow in your color cartridge is probably empty. Run a test sheet through to see what colors print. Or just change your cartridge.
A dual-bay ink jet printer is designed to not print unless both bays have cartridges inserted. If you aren't printing color documents, you can leave an empty color cartridge in the color ink bay and the printer will work because all printing (even color) includes the B&W cartridge.
Each color cartridge has 3 small tanks of different colored ink. If the cartridge is the same size as the black cartridge, each color tank is 1/3 the size of the tank in the black cartridge. If you do not NEED a color copy, when you print, select properties, and check "print in greyscale" or "Black and white". You will get a black and white copy and save your color ink.
