Get his attention. Talk to him, help him with studying, If your home is on the same direction as his then walking home together is also a good idea. Also if you have common interests/ hobbies you can do these together(going to the club, sports like jogging and Skateboarding anyting will do). But i really can't give much more advice as i don't know much about it. Good luck :)
