I recently discovered my teenage son 15 to be smoking pot. I'm concerned for him and his future and want to nip it at the bud now. Anyone out there with experience and preventative suggestions?

I think the best thing to do it to confront him at the earliest convenience and explain to him the dangers and in most cases the consequences of smoking "pot". one thing you'll always have to keep in mind is that if he want's to do it, he will, don't support the habit, but be there for him if he needs it. You can always lay some ground rules should he decide to keep going and tell him simple rules such as no smoking in the house or surrounding property/ies and in front of family etc. this will show that you are against it and hopefully on day he will see himself that it was the wrong thing to do
