what about pressure testing? is the residue left over from the gasket failure? remove the thermostat and flush the system a few times, (use a jet wash if available and back flush it) what about pressure testing? is the residue left over from the gasket failure? remove the thermostat and flush the system a few times, (use a jet wash if available and back flush it)
blown head gasket is the usual reason for oil in coolant or radiator. sad part is if you have already replaced intake gasket, u wasted your money as you will have to replace again when you fix head gasket
radiator fan, head gasket,
did you check the radiator or the head gasket?
i would have replaced water pump long before replacing radiator. also check engine oil to see if it has engine coolant mixed in.if it has then the problem is more likely to be a bad head gasket
possiable head gasket
valve cover gasket
Could be timing cover gasket or head gasket.
It could be a clogged radiator or cracked head or bad head gasket.
try a radiator cap......or you have a head gasket leak.
YEs it should!! the tech is trained to accomplish all that > when a car comes in they cannot let the car leave if there is still something wrong like the radiator not being flushed after changing the manifold gasket, your tech was probably hoping that you would pay the extra cost.
AnswerWhen you replaced the headgasket, did you have the head checked? It could be warped, causing the gasket to fail, or worse it could be cracked. I've also seen the water jackets within the block crack if it overheated to many times.
Did you check the thermostat to make sure it is working? If it is and you have enough coolant, you might want to check for head gasket issue. You can rent a tester at Autozone. HTH
