Then go buy one; Sprint is selling them.
Both the blackberry torch 9850 and the apple iphone are awesome phones. There are a few differences in the two. The apple iphone is available through AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon, but the torch is only available through Sprint. The iphone has 3G technology and the torch does not. The talk time and battery life are pretty close to one another. It all comes down to personal preference and what carrier you want to go with.
As of right now ONLY AT&T carries the iPhone, they are on Edge coverage. BUT as you have probably heard, Verizon will be releasing the iPhone4 this February 2011. They are on a cdma network, as well as Sprint. It IS a possibility that Sprint could want in on the iPhone obsession, but lately Sprint has been looking into more Windows based phones. So it's unlikely that iPhone will be released by them, at least not anytime in the near future. It may be possible to jailbreak one to Sprint after the Verizon release but that's the only real possibility.
1st you have to get your MSL from Sprint, Then you have to Flash the Op Sys to whatever carrier you want to use. Then Ask or Beg them to activate the phone based on the ESN.
The significance of the iPhone for Sprint is not lost on mobile customers. Unlike AT&T and Verizon, Sprint offers unlimited data plans, so users on its network can use as much data as they want. Those who have a Sprint iPhone can watch as many movies and videos as they want. They can download files and use Facebook all day, every day if they want to. Users of other networks must select a data plan that only includes a small amount of bandwidth. If they use all that data, they are billed extra and often must deal with slower data speeds.

If iphone 5s is $649 then iphone 6 would be around $700-$850
Depends on what carrier you want? Specify a bit more! But if you want the ability to customize your phone to the maximum extent then Android is your go. If you just want a list of apps and a closed environment then iOS is your go.
Let me know if you find the answer to this. I've been looking for the same thing. I've been a Nextel/Sprint customer for 10 years plus and don't want to give up my direct connect feature but really want to get an iPhone. Since the new Sprint direct connect uses the internet to make the direct connect calls, I can't see why there can't be an app for the iPhone 4s that allows us to walkie talkie too~.
You van measure your diabetes using an iPhone application, for example, the OnTrack Diabetes.
