Depending on which operating system you are looking to install, the above is not quite correct. If its XP, you cannot boot up in command prompt, as that option is not available, within the F8 list.
If its a earlier OS, then the easiest way, is to download or make a boot up disc, then booting from the floppy drive, you can do what the above poster mentioned. Hope this helps
